Let's Talk Streets
The 2023 American Planning Association Wisconsin annual conference presented the City of Madison with an award for its Complete Green Streets plan. EQT By Design’s engagement and analysis were instrumental in pulling this plan together by incorporating insights from deep community engagement and integrating community-oriented equity into the Complete Green Streets plan.
John Nolen Drive
Madisonians from all our diverse communities appreciate our waterways and lakefronts, and John Nolen Drive is no exception. However, it doesn’t reflect or leverage its full potential as a gateway and more for this city! And it is exciting to share that two projects—the John Nolen Drive Reconstruction Project and the Madison LakeWay Project—are converging to generate a premier gateway and lakefront!!!!
Triangle Redevelopment
The City of Madison hired EQT By Design to engage residents living in the Triangle on what they envision for this redevelopment. The Triangle is a community of people who live in a historic affordable housing neighborhood in Madison’s Southwest side near West Washington and Park Street.

Organizational Development
Through virtual and in-person design and facilitation strategies, our equity-centered organizational development work includes co-created internal environmental scan assessments, external stakeholder engagement, change management strategy and implementation support, leadership coaching, strategic planning, ERG support and development, team-building and professional development workshops, and strategy roadmaps.
